COPIES of the massively popular compilation CD Now That’s What I Call Christmas have been dropped over North Korea in a bid to make them think again about starting a nuclear war in the run-up to Christmas.
It is hoped the songs of joy and happiness will make the rogue state pull back from brink after it fired off another long-range missile this week. David Cameron told the Commons: “In particular, the haunting melody of Jonah Louie’s Stop the Cavalry and the strong message of goodwill contained in the Paul McCartney classic Simply Having A Wonderful Christmas Time will hopefully hit home and make them see the error of their ways.”
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said: “I think the great philosopher Gilbert O’Sullivan summed it up best when he said ‘I’m not dreaming of a white Christmas, I’m not dreaming of a white Christmas, all I’m dreaming of the whole day long is a peaceful world’.” A spokesman for North Korean leader Kim Wrong- Un told the Splurt: “How you get this number?”
