CONTESTANTS in the new series of ITV 1′s Dancing on Ice which starts in the New Year will face a new challenge – Polar Bear Week.
Celebrities will have to skate with their professional partners while being attacked by polar bears in a bid to improve ratings on last year. A spokesman for Dancing on Ice said: “If you thought X Factor bosses making James Arthur sing Abba was cruel, wait until you see this.” Other surprise challenges waiting in store for the skating celebs include Titanic Week, when a huge iceberg moves across the stage, and North Pole Week, when skaters struggle to finish their routines before the ice melts.
