TUMOUR ‘BETTER’

A TUMOUR was recovering in hospital last night after a nine-hour operation to remove former Prime Minister Margaret “Maggie” Thatcher. Surgeons at the private clinic in Harley Street said that the operation had gone well and the tumour was expected to make a full recovery. Leading surgeon Sir Nigel Kinnock (no relation) said: “We could not allow the situation to go any further – it had grown into a nasty lump and had to be got rid of pretty sharpish.”
